A stable and comfortable PLUS-frame with a safe and easy to control brake
The REAL 9000 is the gas spring operated Mercado Medic chair, which is designed to enhance the independence and quality of life for people who have enough mobility to operate gas spring functions, similar to that of a typical office chair.
What makes the REAL 9000 a more suitable alternative to a standard chair, is that it has precise adjustments which promotes a healthy sitting position, especially when sat for longer periods of time.
Moreover, the safety brake which comes as a standard on all chairs, is unique to Mercado Medic, as instead of braking on the wheels, it raises the back wheels off the floor, which prevents any risk of the chair tipping over as well as keeping the chair secure for transfers.
All REAL 9000 chairs come with a gas spring lift, adjustable armrests, made to measure seats and backrests, safety brake and easy rolling castor wheels. Extra functions, such as: tilt in space, dynamic backrest (to accommodate people who rock), power assist for self propelling, can all be added to the chair.
Accessories such as headrests, trunk supports, belts, hip guides and foot plates can all be built onto the chair or very easily retrofitted.
